Real evidence. Hard questions. A safer tomorrow.

About The World We Failed to Save

The World We Failed to Save is an independent publication about the risks shaping our future, the institutions responsible for addressing them, and the evidence of what still works.

Our Purpose

The risks facing our world rarely arrive alone. We investigate how interconnected global risks reinforce one another, and what that means for people and places around the world.

Accountability

Governments, corporations, and other powerful institutions make decisions that shape these risks. We examine what they have promised, what they have done, and where the gap between the two leaves the public exposed.

Evidence and Speculation

We separate what is established from what is analysis and what remains uncertain. We aim to cite our sources, and our Editorial Standards explain how we intend to verify and present information.

Through A Future We Must Prevent, we also explore possible consequences through speculative fiction. It is always clearly identified as fiction and kept separate from our factual reporting.

Progress and Solutions

Hard questions are only half the story. Signs of Progress highlights meaningful change supported by verifiable evidence, and The World We Can Still Save explores practical solutions.

Informed Participation

We want readers to leave better informed and better equipped to act. You can submit a story or evidence of progress, report an error under our Corrections Policy, or contact us with questions and feedback.
